CHINESE FISHING NETS - COCHIN

Day 01: Cochin (35 Kms/1 Hr Drive)

Welcomed by Our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. A port town since early centuries, Cochin, also known as the spice coast of India, attracted traders and invaders from the world over. Needless to say, Cochin offers you some fascinating snippets of history and culture.
Relax and unwind at the hotel. Overnight at Dutch Bungalow - Heritage Room A/c.

MATTANCHERRY PALACE

Day 02: Cochin (Total biking distance: 15 Kms. Terrain: Plain)

Today explore the old quarter of Fort Kochi visiting the many fascinating highlights of Cochin which include - the Jewish Synagogue in what is locally called the Jew Town, St. Francis Church which is the oldest European church in India, the Santa Cruz Basilica built in 1557 by the Portuguese, the Dutch palace, the spice market and the 15th century Chinese fishing nets believed to have been brought by Chinese traders. In the evening, optional visit to see the famous dance drama of Kerala, the Kathakali. This dance is characterised by some great story telling, amazing costumes and extensive make-up. Overnight at Dutch Bungalow - Heritage Room A/c.

MUNNAR LAKE VIEW

Day 03: Munnar (140 Kms /4 Hrs Drive)

Morning after breakfast drive to Munnar a hill station(140 Kms/4 Hrs drive), located 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in South India it still retains its colonial charm and is famous for its tea plantations, most of which are privately owned. With its sprawling estates, rolling hills, sparkling waterfalls, picture postcard hamlets and undulating valleys, Munnar is an ideal holiday destination. En route visiting Cheyyapara & Valara waterfalls . After refreshment continue with the local tour ,you could visit Tea Gardens, Tea Museum(Will be closed on Mondays) Echo point, Kundala Dam,Mattupetty dam; you can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight at Clouds Valley - Deluxe Non A/c.

MUNNAR TEA PLANTATION

Day 04: Munnar (Total biking distance: 15 Kms. Terrain: Plain & slight gradient in some area)

Cycling tour thorough Letchmi Village - After exiting the traffic and the bustle of the main road, you will enter the relatively flat and calmness of Letchmi road leading to up to the estate. Letchmi estate is one of the most picturesque tea plantations in Munnar and the landscape as you continue to cycle down the road is a pure visually treat. As you pass through the village, you can see domestic animals on the sides of the road, tiny homes belonging to plantation workers arranged in neat, meticulous
lines and vibrantly coloured temples. Later drive back to the hotel & Stay overnight at Clouds Valley - Deluxe Non A/c.

THEKKADY - BAMBOO RAFTING

Day 05: Thekkady (140 Kms/4 Hrs Drive)

Moring after breakfast 9 AM drive to Thekkady(110 Kms/3.5 Hrs drive), an area known for its undulating hills, spice plantations, and elephant sightings. One of the 27 wildlife reserves in India, the Periyar valley in Thekkady is the oldest. Check into your hotel.Afternoon you can go for boat cruise in the Lake to watch wild animals is an option (Inside the sanctuary). HOUSEBOAT

Day 06: Alleppey (180 Kms/5 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast is another morning drive to Alleppey, the backwater destination to see the winding canals and an amazing network of backwaters. On arrival, you will be checking in to a traditional Kerala houseboat which will take you on a fabulous tour of the backwaters, all part of what is one of the best honeymoon packages in Kerala. Overnight stay will be in the House Boat Premium A/c.

ALLEPPEY

Day 07: Alleppey (Total biking distance: 15 Kms. Terrain: Plain)

Morning after breakfast checkout from the Boat and you will be transferred to a beautiful Homestay near to the backwaters. After refreshment continue with the cycling tour through village covering Mankombu, Pulimkunnu, Kayappuram, Block & kavalam. Evening rerun back to the homestay. Stay overnight at Emerald Isle - Heritage Room A/c.

KOLLAM

Day 08: Kollam (Total biking distance: 35 Kms. Terrain: Slight gradients in some sections. Mostly plain)

After breakfast checkout and drive upto Karunagappally and then start biking, and cycle to the eco lodge - Fragrant Nature set in a typical Kerala village. Stay overnight at Fragrant Nature - Lake View A/c.

POOVAR

Day 09: Poovar (Total biking distance: 45 kms. Terrain: Slight gradients in some sections. Mostly plain)

Start cycling in the morning and make the best of the cool early hours as we ride towards the great beaches in the South. We will end our cycling adventure at Kaniyapuram near Trivandrum and be transferred to Poovar Island,Enveloped in serene Kerala backwaters, flanked by the Arabian Sea on the East and the majestic towering Ghats to the West, opening out to the ocean and a dream golden beach. Enjoying a boat cruise through the narrow backwater stretches is an option to explore. Stay overnight at Estuary Island Resort - Garden View A/c.

POOVAR

Day 10: Poovar

Days at leisure on the beach. Overnights at Estuary Island Resort - Garden View A/c.

Day 11: Departure (1.5 Hrs Drive)

Departure Transfer to Trivandrum Airport for onward journey.
