COCHIN
Meet the Kerala Tour Package agent at Kochi International Airport/Railway Station then you'll be transferred to your accommodation as the first part of your Kerala Tour. You can even go and explore Cochin in the afternoon. The oldest church in India, St Francis Church, 500-year-antique Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th-century Synagogue, Jew Town, and Mattancherry Palace, built by the Portuguese, consist of several of India's most beautiful murals. Go shopping in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel. Here's some intriguing Kochi trivia. Is it better to go to Kochi or Cochin? If you're curious about the proper name for this location, you're correct in both contexts. The British used the colonial word "Cochin" in the early days. Kochi was the locals' moniker for the region, and it became the official title in the 1990s.
The one-of-a-kind fishing nets that you would never see anywhere else are a famous sight that you cannot miss while traveling the coastline length as part of your Kerala Trip. Cheenavala, which means "Chinese nets," is the name given to these nets. These structures, which are believed to have been brought to local fishermen by Chinese traders during Kublai Khan's reign, are giant bamboo poles with nets connected to one end that dip and rise from the seas. Do take a photo in front of these, as you'll never see anything like it outside of China.
The Mattancherry Palace is another fantastic stop on your Cochin sightseeing trip as part of the first leg of your Kerala Tour. The stunning structure is built in the traditional Kerala style, with plenty of wood and unique sloping roofs. In the 16th century, the Portuguese gave the King of Cochin the Mattancherry Palace as a reward. The Jewish Synagogue, located near Mattancherry Palance, is the next stop on your Kerala sightseeing tour after the palace. The beautiful Chinese tilework and lavish Belgian chandeliers dangling from the ceilings will take your breath away.
MUNNAR
The second day of your Kerala Tour Package starts after breakfast. Then drive to Munnar. Kerala's most stunning hill station. Visit the Cheyyappara Waterfalls enroute, covering a distance of 130 KMS / 4 hrs. On the route to Munnar, you may witness tea gardens that stretch for hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills and a region that is difficult to understand due to its low population and proximity to pollution, with Tata tea covering the majority of the land. Check-in at the hotel as you arrive. Overnight stay at the hotel.
The Cheyyappara Waterfalls are prominently featured in Kerala Travel Packages. It's around 30 kilometers from Munnar, at the end of a pleasant drive. Tourists and travelers can see the waterway in all its glory during the monsoon season as it gushes over the sides of gigantic cliffs.
MUNNAR
Mattupetty, Eco-Point, Tea Museum, and Pothamedu are also some of the best attractions to discover in Munnar in the morning and are widely known in all Kerala Travel Packages. You can also go boating on Lake Michigan (optional). Overnight at the hotel. Munnar, located in the region of Idukki and rising above 5000 meters above sea level, is veritable heaven on earth. At every turn in Munnar, you'll be greeted by wide expanses of tea plantations, vibrant fauna, and breathtaking scenery. You'll never run out of stuff to post on Instagram. Sites like Eravikulam National Park, Athukad, Tea Museum, and Nymakad Gap have become popular perfect weekend spots for Indian youngsters and members of adventure clubs.
THEKKADY
Drive through cardamom hills on your way to Thekkady in the morning, covering 110 kilometers in 3.5 hours. Make your way to the Resort. Explore spice plantations such as cardamom, pepper, coffee, and tea estates after lunch. You may stop at the local market on your way back to the hotel to pick up some fragrant seasonings. Overnight stay at the hotel.
If you enjoy wildlife, Thekkady is a great place to visit. Thanks to its deep jungles and lush flora, it has become one of India's largest wildlife sanctuaries. One of the Great Indian Tigers lives at the Periyar Tiger Reserve. If you're lucky, you could catch a glimpse of one stopping by a lake for a drink of water. Elephant rides through the lush forests will make you feel like you're on top of the world.
In the jungles of Thekkady, around 320 species of birds and 160 varieties of butterflies coexist in their natural habitat. Another feature of Kerala Packages is visiting the various cardamom and tea estates that dot the countryside. While roaming through the local markets, keep a lookout for fresh herbs at unbelievably low costs. There are a variety of forest trails to choose from for thrill-seekers. Choose any, and you'll feel like you're on a rejuvenating voyage of discovery, adventure, and refreshment.
HOUSEBOAT
After breakfast, travel to Alleppey, commonly known as the "Venice of the East." Upon arrival, check into a Kerala-style classic houseboat. Backwater cruises are a fantastic way to see the intriguing beauty of turquoise waters. Overnight stay in the Houseboat.
What is a Kerala vacation package without a lovely ride on one of the state's famous houseboats? At Kerala Packages, we make sure that the box is checked during your Kerala adventure tour. Throughout your time in Alleppey, you will be closer to water than you have ever been. A floating home may sound like something out of a fictional world. This fantasy can be achieved in Alleppey. Set sail on a big houseboat booked by Tour Packages in Kerala and relax while watching local fishermen and people go about their daily tasks. You may even try your hand at fishing! As the boat is tethered for an ethereal moment of ecstasy in the evening, watch the stars gradually dot the sky.
DEPARTURE
After breakfast, proceed to the Cochin Airport or Railway Station for onward destination. Don't limit your Tour Packages in Kerala to a specific location or area the next time you start arranging. Spread out your Kerala trip itinerary to take in as much of the state's natural splendor as possible. Kerala offers a wonderful opportunity for families, professionals, and couples to get away from the monotony of city life and go on a path to self. Good luck on your journey!
