Once the summer retreat of the British administration in South India, Munnar continues to retain its colonial charm and is renowned for its sprawling tea plantations, rolling hills, sparkling waterfalls, scenic valleys, and breathtaking landscapes. En route, visit the beautiful Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the serene surroundings of Munnar. After breakfast (around 9:00 AM), proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit the Tea Museum (closed on Mondays), Blossom Garden, Echo Point, Chenkulam Dam, and Mattupetty Dam. After breakfast, drive to Kuttikanam, a tranquil hill destination known for its lush greenery and tea plantations.
